What
Type of Printing Do I Need?
| |
| Screen Printing... |
| ...
is the most cost-effective way to
print large quantities of garments, it
works on almost all types of garments, but
works best for designs with a limited
number of colors. |
| Digital Printing... |
| ...
also known as "Direct To
Garment" printing, is the most
cost-effective method for
small quantities, or for
designs that include a large number of
colors or full-color photographs.
The biggest limitation is that this method
works best on 100%, or nearly 100%,
cotton garments. |
| Do I have to choose? |
|
No. The Design Studio will choose the
best printing method for you based on the
contents of your design and the garment
you've chosen. However,
if you are ordering a small quantity, or
your design will include a photograph,
make sure you select a 100% cotton garment
so the Digital Printing option is
available. |
| What about
Embroidery? |
Embroidery is more complicated because
pricing is based on different factors,
like the number of stitches in your
design. You CAN
use the Design Studio to design for
embroidery, but you won't be able to
automatically receive a price and order
online.
Instead, simply save your design from the
Design Studio and then contact us for a
quote. When you click on Get a
Quote in the Design Studio, look for a
link to request an embroidery quote, or
just give us a call and we'll help you
out! |
